DESCRIPTION:The mission of The Wellness Coalition’s Champions For Change is to speak up for healthy changes in the communities of Autauga\, Lowndes\, Macon\, and Montgomery. Champions for Change is comprised of members in these committees:. \n\nHealthy Voices Committee\nMilk Haven Committee\nTrailblazers Task Force\n\nInformation and outcomes for these four committee meetings will be shared at the Champions for Change meeting\, and vice versa. \nChampions will: \n\nBe a voice for change in the community.\nIdentify areas and obstacles that are in the way of change.\nBuild through networking and collaboration to create and enhance policies\, systems\, and environmental changes.\nAssist the Wellness Coalition REACH program on how we can make changes for a healthier community\nInspire others to make healthy changes\nSpeak up for safer places to be active in the outdoors\nInform leaders and decision-makers about health issues facing the community\nAssist with promoting healthy nutrition promotion\, physical activity promotion and access\, breastfeeding promotion\, and access to adult vaccination uptake\nHelp with upcoming event planning\nAttend at least 2 events (e.g.\, vaccination clinics\, “A Tour of Wellness” health fairs\, Baby Cafés\, Breastfeeding Summit\, Adult Vaccination webinars\, etc.)\nShare updates and event information in their community circles\nAttend quarterly meetings to discuss updates and events and provide feedback\nAre encouraged to recruit additional messengers\n\nSign Up to be a Champion for Change\n  \nAlready a member?
